John Piper: "Being willing to come to Jesus was not something God saw in you, but something God worked in you. No one is willing to come to Jesus on his own. Only those who are drawn by the Father can come"

Hyper-calvinists seek after the outer boundaries of the election. What's stated above is fully biblical; read with joy.

Years ago I read a book written by her, where she tells her story. It made a big impression on me. What an example she is, a testimony of Christ and His sovereign grace in our sufferings.

May God bestow His grace on her when again trials and temptations are rolling over her life.
Man is nothing: he hath a free will to go to hell, but none to go to heaven, till God worketh in him to will and to do of His good pleasure.

Maybe some silly question, but what is the meaning of writing in English? Do we have a lot of foreign visitors?

To be honoust, I dont know. I just chose to write in English because the rest of the topic is also written in English :).
Man is nothing: he hath a free will to go to hell, but none to go to heaven, till God worketh in him to will and to do of His good pleasure.

It's modern, and the language of the future.
Dutch is the language of non-literate people.

Hi Dia,
Great to read that you are part of the modern literate part of our population ;) The second sentence however is a very bold statement.
Man is nothing: he hath a free will to go to hell, but none to go to heaven, till God worketh in him to will and to do of His good pleasure.

Hmm .. how many scientific books are still written in Dutch?
At least in the field of Biology I do not know them.
Sorry if my English is not perfect.

Nice to see you speaking the language of the future. Whilst leaning back so much in history, its like a breath of fresh air.
